Tamsuford-D tablet is a combination medicine which used in men to treat the symptoms of an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH) which include difficulty urinating (hesitation, dribbling, weak stream, and incomplete bladder emptying), painful urination, and urinary frequency and urgency. Tamsulosin relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier to urinate and Dutasteride prevents Testosterone from converting to Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the body. DHT is involved in the development of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH).
Common side effects are dizziness, depressed mood, decreased libido (sex drive), decreased amount of semen released during sex, impotence (trouble getting or keeping an erection), breast tenderness or enlargement, nipple discharge and runny nose.
