Fosrofer acts as a phosphate binder and also provide elemental Iron. It contains Ferric citrate which is used to control the high Phosphorus levels in the blood of patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) who are on dialysis. Ferric citrate is also used to treat iron deficiency anaemia in patients with CKD who are not on dialysis.
Diarrhoea, constipation, nausea & vomiting.
