Bevirize injection contains Thiamine Hydrochloride, a water soluble form of Vitamin B1 for IM or IV (Infusion or slow direct injection) use. Thiamine Hydrochloride injection is used in all the patients of dialysis to prevent its loss and thus complications in metabolism which is an essential pathophysiology of the body in CKD. Bevirize is also indicated when giving IV dextrose to individuals with marginal thiamine status to avoid precipitation of heart failure.
Main side effects are feeling of warmth, pruritus, urticaria, weakness, sweating, nausea, restlessness & tightness of the throat.
