| DESCRIPTION: | Optanol 200 contains Oxaceprol, an amino acid derivative that acts like analgesic and anti-inflammatory used for the symptomatic treatment of degenerative and inflammatory joint disease & has anti-inflammatory and analgesic efficacy equivalent to conventional non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like Diclofenac. Oxaceprol prevents leukocyte infiltration into the joints, thus inhibiting an early step of inflammatory cascade and presenting a novel class of anti-inflammatory agents in osteoarthritis. |
